” …because there’s no such thing as a lousey job – only lousey men who who don’t care to do it.”
Atlas Shrugged, Part III, Chapter I, page 721, copyright © 1957 by Ayn Rand.
At a time when the principal problem in poor predominately black communities across the nation continues to be unemployment, there is no shortage of lousey political leaders touting a political ideology that makes poor blacks ever more dependent on public assistance supported by ever increasing taxes and regulations. Such political leaders were known as “looters” in Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged.
The modern day looters have no qualms about denouncing as racially motivated clearly non -racial acts of white police officers in Ferguson, Missouri and Staten Island, New York. The recent remarks of the current President and Attorney General of the United States of America and Mayor of New York City are cases in point. Among others, these remarks have contributed to an atmosphere of racial tension that culminated in the assassination of two white police officers in New York City by a deranged black criminal.
But not to despair …. Just as the producers who created the wealth robbed by the looters in Atlas Shrugged eventually revolted, today the vast majority of American citizens, who are or want to be producers, have begun to revolt peacefully. The last victory was the 2014 midterm elections. Commonsense tells me that the next victory will be won in less than two years, and maybe sooner if the Supreme Court and Congress of the Unites States reassert constitutional authority…..but that is a subject for another Day.
Good Day and Merry Christmas to all Christians and Happy Holidays to everyone else.
