My first encounter with the current Vice=President of the United States of America up close was at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland when he kept the folks waiting for nearly an hour for his commencement address to the class of 2010, with no apology or explanation when he finally arrived. That performance was rather classless and his remarks then were not impressive. Since then his penchant for embarrassing gaffes have not improved his image.
Uncle Joe’s prediction of a peaceful, free Iraq following the announcement of the pullout of U.S. troops would be the greatest achievement of the current administration is probably his most embarrassing gaffe in light of the headlines this week about the chaos in Iraq caused by the unopposed return of radical Islamic militants to Iraq.
Commonsense tells me that if Uncle Joe had any commonsense he would just smile and keep his thoughts to himself.
